Enrollment Analysis: Hispanic students comprised less than 0.1% of Stewart County's student body during 2022-23 school year

There were two Hispanic students enrolled in Stewart County school in the 2022-23 school year, 100% more than the previous year, according to reports from the Georgia Department of Education.

Data showed that Stewart County welcomed 368 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised less than 0.1% of the student body to be the fourth most represented ethnicity in the county.

Among the three schools in Stewart County, Stewart County High School recorded the highest enrollment of Hispanic students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of one students.

As of 2024, Georgia has an average student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 1:15, which is better than the national average of 1:16. The state has its best student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1 in pre-kindergarten and middle school grades, while high school has an average ratio of 17:1.
