City of Bainbridge recently issued the following announcement.
Downtown Bainbridge Art and Wine Walk
This year's Downtown Art and Wine Walk will be held Saturday, April 16, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
THE PURPOSE:
The Downtown Development Authority of Bainbridge and the Firehouse Arts Center are sponsoring this year’s Downtown Bainbridge Art & Wine Walk to build exposure for businesses in Downtown Bainbridge and to increase awareness and development of local fine artists.
HOW IT WORKS:
Each business hosts a talented local artist, exhibiting 3-6 pieces of the artist’s work for one week. Each business will provide a wine or beverage, along with a sampling of various appetizers. Participants in the Art & Wine Walk can purchase tickets for $20 (if purchased prior to that day) or $25 on the day of the event. Tickets may be purchased from Randee Eubanks at the Downtown Development office or on the events Facebook (Eventbrite) page. They will begin their tour at the Firehouse Arts Center, where members of the DDA and Firehouse Arts Center will explain the walk, attach wristbands to all participants, and provide a brochure and a map describing all participating businesses and artists.
Applications for both businesses and artists wishing to participate are attached.
