Blue Ridge Elementary School recently issued the following announcement.
The Columbia County School District will administer the Georgia Student Health Survey to all students in grades 3-12, February 15 – March 4, 2022. Preview the survey today and find opt-out forms available now through February 14, 2022.
Developed by the Georgia Department of Education, the Student Health Survey is an anonymous, statewide survey instrument that school districts use to identify a school’s strengths and areas in need of improvement regarding school climate, safety, and more.
Middle and high school students in grades 6-12 will be administered a survey that covers a variety of topics such as school climate and safety, peer and adult social support, bullying, mental health, substance abuse, and suicidal ideation.
Elementary Students in grades 3-5 will be administered a brief survey only on topics of school climate and safety.
A survey preview and opt-out will be available for parents from January 31 – February 14, 2022, at the links below. Parents who wish to opt their child out of the student health survey, are asked to complete an opt-out form no later than February 14, 2022.
