Congressman Andrew Clyde of Georgia has introduced a series of Congressional Review Act (CRA) joint resolutions aimed at overturning more than a dozen regulations from the Biden administration. These actions target 13 rules that fall within the CRA's lookback period, allowing Congress additional time to review and potentially disapprove regulations submitted in the final months of a presidential term.

According to the American Action Forum, overturning these regulations could result in estimated savings of approximately $105 billion. Congressman Clyde stated, "This past November, the American people overwhelmingly rejected the Biden-Harris Administration’s destructive policies." He emphasized the need for Congress to act swiftly alongside President Trump to reverse what he describes as costly and misguided regulations from the previous administration.

The list of targeted Biden-era rules includes those related to postsecondary student success grants, quality control standards for automated valuation models, energy conservation programs for appliance standards, new source performance standards for volatile organic liquid storage vessels, and national primary drinking water regulations for lead and copper improvements. Other areas affected include Medicare program updates, dust-lead hazard standards reconsideration, anti-money laundering regulations for residential real estate transfers, financial crimes enforcement network requirements, and cybersecurity maturity model certification programs.
