STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern men's tennis team will take on Kennesaw State and Chattanooga on the road on Feb. 11 in Kennesaw, Ga., and Feb. 12 in Chattanooga, Tenn., respectively. Saturday's match is set for 11 AM and Sunday's match is set for 2 PM.
KENNESAW STATE OUTLOOK: The Owls have opened the season with a 4-0 record after defeating Mercer, Alabama State, Samford, and Gardner-Webb in their first four contests. KSU finished the 2022 season ranked No. 75 in the nation after a 15 win season, where they also won the most road games and conference games in program history. The Owls also won a share of the ASUN regular season title for the first time ever. The Owls have been picked to finish fourth in the ASUN, just behind Liberty, North Florida, and Florida Gulf Coast.
KENNESAW STATE SERIES: The Eagles lead the series with the Owls 7-2 all-time and currently own a five-match winning streak over the Owls. The last time the two squads faced off was in 2020, where the Eagles beat the Owls in Statesboro with a 4-1 final score.
CHATTANOOGA OUTLOOK: The Eagles will reignite an old SoCon rivalry against the Mocs. UTC has started the season with a 3-2 record after opening the season with a loss to Alabama, winning three in a row against Gardner-Webb, Young Harris, and Lipscomb, before falling to Belmont. The Mocs will host UNC Asheville before taking on the Eagles on Sunday.
CHATTANOOGA SERIES: The Mocs hold a slight lead in the all-time series against the Eagles with a 17-15 record, but the Eagles have won the last two matches in the series. The last time the two met was in 2018, where the Eagles swept UTC in Statesboro, 7-0.

Georgia Southern will host two matches the weekend of Feb. 17, when the South Carolina State Bulldogs come to Statesboro. Then, on Sunday, Feb. 19, the Eagles will gost Stetson for an early morning match. Those matches will begin at 2 PM and 10 AM, respectively.
