The 2022 season features five home games.

The Tigers open the season on Sept. 3 at home against Southeastern University with a 6 p.m. kick-off.

Following three weeks on the road, the Tigers return to Theodore A. Wright Stadium on Oct. 1 to face Kentucky State in a cross divisional Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) bout set for 6 p.m.

Savannah State celebrates homecoming the next week, Oct. 8, hosting Virginia University of Lynchburg with a 3 p.m. kick-off.

On October 22, the Tigers host Albany State in a key SIAC East Division matchup at 5 p.m. The Golden Rams were voted to finish first in the division in a preseason conference poll. Following the Macon Central City HBCU Football Classic, Savannah State closes out the regular season on Nov. 5 in their second cross divisional game, hosting Lane College. Kick-off is set for 5 p.m.
