CAMILLA'S INDEPENDENCE DAY FESTIVAL AND PARADE

Plans are underway for the Fourth Annual Independence Day Festival, Small Engine Parade and Fireworks Display. This year the Fireworks Display will be downtown and should be visible to many Camilla residents. The Festival this year will be held on the west side of Scott Street on the sidewalks, city parking lot and Colleen Morrell Park. This area will have arts and crafts, food vendors, entertainment.  The Small Engine Parade will return to the longer route that will encompass Downtown South Scott Street and Broad Street.

The festival, parade and fireworks provide opportunities for the citizens of Camilla and visitors to come together to celebrate with Independence Day and unite as a community in a spirited, fun and festive fashion. The Festival will be held Saturday, July 2 and Monday, July 4 opening at 4 pm and closing at 11 pm. The Fireworks Display and the Small Engine Parade will be held on Monday, July 4.  The display will be at dark and the parade will begin at dusk, around 8:30 pm.

Parade and Vendor applications are available at Camilla City Hall Customer’s Service window or drive-thru, the City of Camilla’s website under the Forms and Applications tab, email don.gray@cityofcamilla.com or by phoning your request to (229) 330-2303.

Deadlines for entry in the Small Engine Parade or to be a vendor is Wednesday, June 29th, 2022. Please PRINT your application and return to Main Street Camilla, P.O. Box 328, Camilla, GA 31730 or return to the City of Camilla's Costumer Service window or drive-thru. There is no entry fee to participate in our Fourth Annual “Independence Day Festival or Small Engine Parade”. We look forward to seeing your entry.
