Andrew College Athletic Director Blake Williams announced today that Moses Phillip has been named as Head Men's Soccer Coach at Andrew College for the 2022 season, following a pair of seasons as Head Assistant Coach in Cuthbert. He came to SW Georgia after a long and successful playing career at the high school, collegiate and international level.
Phillip started his collegiate playing career at the NJCAA level, becoming the youngest starter for Southwestern Oregon Community College (SWOCC) during his Freshman year. After playing for SWOCC during his first two years, Moses transferred to Barry University (FL), where he played on the men's soccer team and earned his B.S. in Exercise Physiology. After his college career at Barry, he played at the semi-professional level for Miami Dade FC., and was also a member of his family's native Trinidad & Tobago U23 National Team and Senior team.
On top of his playing experience, Phillip has coaching experience at the youth, club and collegiate level, having served as an assistant coach at SWOCC and for Coral Springs United's U12 team.
Born in Staten Island, NY, Phillip grew up between San Diego, CA, and Trinidad & Tobago, and currently lives in Cuthbert.
