Archbold has named Tammy Gurley, RN, LHA, as the new administrator at Glenn-Mor Nursing Home.
Gurley received an LPN license at Thomas Technical School and then received an Associates of Science degree in nursing at Darton College.
As a medication and charge nurse, Gurley started her career at Archbold as an LPN at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home. She was then promoted to Director of Nursing for Mitchell Convalescent Center in Camilla. Gurley has recently served in interim roles as MDS Coordinator, Director of Nursing, and Administrator for Archbold’s long-term care facilities.
Gurley also earned a teaching certificate at Valdosta State University and has taught Health Occupations at Mitchell-Baker High School in Camilla.
“We are so fortunate to have Tammy as our new administrator at Glenn-Mor Nursing Home,” said Jamie Womack, Vice President Critical Access/Post-Acute Services. “Her extensive knowledge of the Archbold system and dedication to residents will help us continue to provide high-quality care to our community.”
Gurley sits on the Boards of the National Association of Nurses in Long-Term Care and the Quality Committee for Georgia Healthcare Association, and she was recognized as the Georgia Long-Term Care Nurse of the Year in 2016.
