Agnes Scott College Department of Athletics is pleased to announce the 2022 Agnes Scott Athletics Golf Classic.
The 2022 Agnes Scott Athletics Golf Classic will take place on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at East Lake Golf Club. The day will be filled with a VIP golf experience at the exclusive East Lake Golf Club. When you donate, sponsor, purchase a raffle or reception ticket, or play as a golfer, you are investing in our student-athletes and Agnes Scott Athletics and their future success. The golf experience is exclusive to sponsors. There are various sponsorship levels to bring visibility to your organization for your support. Non-golfers can support with a general donation or join us for the Victory Reception following the golf rounds in the East Lake Clubhouse.
Registration and lunch for participants will begin at 11:00 a.m. Golf rounds will begin with a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. The Victory Reception will take place from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m and will feature heavy hors d'oeuvres and an open bar. The awards presentation will take place at 6:00 p.m followed by the raffle drawing. The Grand prize is a premium golf experience and consolation prizes include ASC Athletics gear and other premium gifts.
There are several sponsorship opportunities offered for the tournament with levels at $5,000, $10,000, $15,000, and $25,000.
East Lake Golf Club is a private facility located approximately 5 miles east of downtown Atlanta. Established in 1904, East Lake was the home course of the legendary golfer Bobby Jones and much of its Clubhouse serves as a tribute to his accomplishments.
Over the years, the golf course has hosted many golf tournaments including the 1950 U.S. Women's Amateur, 1963 Ryder Cup, and 2001 U.S. Men's Amateur. It is now the permanent home of the TOUR Championship, the culminating event of the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedEx Cup.
