Grady General Hospital issued the following announcement on Jan. 28
Georgia Trend Magazine has named Archbold’s Grady General Hospital as one of the best small hospitals in the state, landing third in recognition. One placement higher than last year.
Georgia Trend Magazine classifies the hospitals as “small” if they have fewer than 100 beds. The 60-bed facility in Cairo, Georgia has earned a spot in the top five small hospital category over the last six years.
“This recognition shows our long-term commitment to patient quality and satisfaction,” said Crystal Wells, Grady General Hospital Administrator. “Every day, staff members in our organization show up and provide the best care to our patients and community. Our team values and treats every patient that walks through our doors with respect and compassionate care.”
The information used to compile the rankings was based on publicly reported data acquired from the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid (CMS), which administers the nation’s Medicare and Medicaid programs. The rankings are based on information in four areas: clinical outcomes, person and community engagement, safety and efficiency and cost reduction.
