Memorial Hospital and Manor issued the following announcement on Jan. 27
Akevia is a Bainbridge Bearcat senior who has been looking forward to the MHM Youth Apprenticeship Program since 9th Grade. This program, led by Education Coordinator Deborah Brown, exposes students interested in the field of healthcare to various departments within our organization.
Akevia plans to pursue a BSN degree in nursing after high school graduation and "join the team of heroes" in the nursing field.
