Georgetown-Quitman County issued the following announcement on Sept. 25.
Quitman county will hold a Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax election on November 2nd 2021 ( 7 am – 7 pm). Logic and Accuracy testing will begin on Monday September 27th, 2021 at 10 a.m. and will continue until finished.
Advance voting will take place at 46 Old School Road (Probate Office) beginning on Tuesday October 12th at 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. thru October 29th. The election office will be closed on Sunday October 17th and 24th .
Saturday voting will be held on October 16th and October 23rd.
