Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting on September 21

Bryan County recently issued the following announcement.

Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting

Date: 09/21/2021 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM  

Location: Bryan County Courthouse (Commissioners Meeting Rm)

42 Courthouse Street, Commissioners Meeting Room

Pembroke, Georgia 31321

The Planning and Zoning Commission will meet and hold public hearings regarding zoning and subdivision applications submitted to the Community Development Department.  The agenda and packets will be posted to the County website approximately one week before the meeting.

The Planning and Zoning Commission will be able to accept public comment via Go To.  You may also provide written comments prior to the meeting by emailing them to Ashley Young at ayoung@bryan-county.org.  Written comments must be received by noon on September. 21, in order to be delivered to the Planning and Zoning Commission members.

Note:  Pursuant to Georgia Statute §36-67A-3(c), any opponent, generally a person speaking in opposition at the public hearing or submitting documents noting their opposition, to a rezoning action must file a disclosure of campaign contribution.  A disclosure is required if the opponent, within the last two years, made a $250 or greater campaign contribution to a Bryan County Commissioner.  Such disclosures must be filed a minimum of five days before the public hearing.  These disclosures may be filed with the Community Development Department either by mail (66 Captain Matthew Freeman Drive, Richmond Hill, GA 31324) or email (ayoung@bryan-county.org).  If hand delivering, you may file in Richmond Hill or at the County's Pembroke office at 51 North Courthouse Street, Pembroke.
