The median income of Climax residents was an inflation-adjusted $22,344 per year. Climax had 82 households in 2017, with a population of 193.

The city with the highest median resident income in the state was Dutch Island. Dutch Island's median income was $61,250 per year after adjusting for inflation – $38,906 more than Climax. It had 391 households in 2017 and a population of 998.
