On Friday, April 11, former Cairo High School standout Garrett Gainous’ current college team, the Troy Trojans, lost 7-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the James Madison Dukes.

The game took place at Eagle Field at Veterans Memorial Park. This was their first matchup against the Dukes this season.

The Trojans’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 4 p.m. at Eagle Field at Veterans Memorial Park against James Madison Dukes.
